Tula Scientific and Technical Center LLC "Mashgeo" was organized in September 1996 as an independent economic enterprise. The intellectual center of the enterprise was made up of specialists from the Tula TsNIGRI (Central Research Institute of Geological Prospecting) and KBP (Instrument Design Bureau).

More than 50 different inventions in the field of special-purpose earth-moving equipment, vibration engineering and other technologies have been patented and are being worked on. When working with Customers, the practice is to visit the site and study local conditions, select the most optimal process chain or equipment and train the Customer's personnel to work with the equipment at the Centre or at the Customer's site.
